Braaimaster – Creative brain and Director of Ultimate Experiences
Braai-master, animal spotter, knowledge seeking and bush expert.
South Africa is my country, born, bred & still living in the bush-veld!
As a youngster my parents a took me to the Kruger Park every school holiday or long weekend. Since the age of 5, I have been in love with my country and the endless nature and the wild bush. Over the years I have worked for many years in the hospitality industry and my career goals were set: creating a very own business in the most beautiful industry, tourism, and to be able to show visitors my country in a very real way.

Marc- Captain of Cross-Borders
As an airline captain, travelling the world is my main business. Whenever our customers board the aircraft their journey begins, our goal is to make it an ultimate experience. This can only be a team effort, as it is with Down to Africa.
When I arrived in Africa for the first time it was instant love! What a great continent. South Africa is definitely one of the most beautiful places in the world with the friendliest people. A must visit for everyone!A couple of years ago I was able to take my family over for a holiday. We love to explore and enjoy the wonderful things nature has to offer. Whenever we can, we go out. Hiking, rafting, driving, flying, let’s go! Our trip was fully arranged by Shaun & Sabine. What a great couple.
The passions we share resulted in a lasting friendship and ultimately in our partnership. My wife Gisela and I are proud to be part of the Down to Africa team. We share a common goal: Creating the best possible adventure for you! Whether you like to on foot, over land or through the air we’ll be able to offer you the greatest experience.

Hantie – Female Cat, The Queen and Travel Consultant
Born and bred South African lady, always loved travelling and the travel industry. During my travels I met my Steve and we have spent every moment in the African bush since.
